5th Annual Michigan Golf Outing Recap

On Sunday, June 14 the Foundation returned to Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan for the 5th time in honor of Drew. While the golf was cut short by the rain, it didn’t dampen the spirit of the day with everyone sticking around for our usual post-golf banquet and awards. People visited, caught up, and even some card games broke out during the weather delay in what proved another meaningful and successful day for the Foundation. The Foundation would like to profoundly thank all of the volunteers who make this event happen each year. While preparation ramps up in the spring and early summer, this outing is a year-round effort for many. We’d especially like to thank Julie Walkley and the entire Walkley family who are at the center of everything the Foundation does in the state of Michigan. We’d also like to thank the staff at Fox Hills who have been wonderful to work with over these last five years.

Every time we return to Michigan we’re struck by not just the sustained but the ever-growing support for the Foundation. We’re incredibly grateful, and we can’t wait to come back home next year!
