What follows is a letter from our Foundation co-Founder and Drew's dad, Kevin Poet. We are all very appreciative of your support over the past two years. We hope to continue to do more in the future to help patients and families, and you make this all possible.

As we reach the second anniversary of Drew’s passing, we wanted to provide an update on the Foundation. The past year has been incredibly difficult for everyone, yet we still see donations coming in and people supporting us in whatever way they can. We thank you and appreciate you all for helping us keep Drew’s memory alive and continue helping us to live up to his two greatest wishes: “Don’t be sad” and “Do whatever you can to find better treatment and a cure”.
Both of Drew’s wishes are incredibly difficult to accomplish. We don’t always keep our promise about being sad while missing him so much, but we are going to continue telling his story and using his Foundation to help fund better treatment options that hopefully will lead to a cure for this rare cancer.
Much has changed in the past year. Mary and I relocated to Dallas, Nick to Southern California, and Matt will be graduating college in May. Our family, much like many of you, is entering into yet another new phase in our lives while missing our Drew more than ever.
Our plan is to resume our in-person fundraising events in 2022 in the hopes of alleviating concerns of the pandemic and to make travel and social gathering easier for all. We will share and invite everyone to future events as soon as we can and look forward to seeing you all in person again soon.
Stay safe and healthy, and thank you for your constant love and support.
Kevin
