Today would be Drew’s 22nd birthday, and on this special day we’d like to make a special announcement.
We will be donating $34,000 to the Ewing’s Sarcoma Research Fund at Levine Children’s Hospital. This donation will be made through the Atrium Health Foundation and dedicated to Ewing’s Sarcoma work being done at the Levine Research Lab. This fund allows us to designate our gift specifically to the study of Ewing’s in honor of Drew.
Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina is where Drew was diagnosed and treated. The extraordinary care and consideration shown by all the doctors and staff was profound and has never been forgotten.
Today, as we celebrate Drew’s 22nd birthday, we begin work in the second pillar of our Foundation mission: Research.
