On April 20, 2024, it will have been five years since Drew’s passing after his battle with Ewing’s sarcoma. While it’s incredibly difficult, and hard to believe it’s been so long, it also marks another year of our Foundation and its continued fight against Ewing’s. We’re looking forward to the year ahead and the opportunities it will provide for us to advance our mission of finding a cure.
With that, we're excited to announce our annual golf events. These events are an important avenue for raising funds for cancer research, so we hope you can join us on these special days!
First up is the 4th annual California Golf Outing on Monday, March 4 at Los Verdes Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The outing kicks off at 1:00 pm. Full outing details and how to register will be available in January 2024. The California Outing was our first Foundation event and it continues to be a tremendous success. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Los Verdes Golf Course sits atop the cliffs in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes, California. This is a beautiful destination for anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to attend this event or play this course.
Next up is the 3rd annual Michigan Golf Outing on Sunday, June 23 at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth, Michigan. The outing kicks off at 9:00 am. Full outing details and how to register will be available as we move into Spring 2024. Our Michigan Outing continues to grow every year, and we fully anticipate building on its previous success at this next event. Fox Hills continues to be a great partner and we can’t wait to return to Drew’s home course.
We're excited for the year ahead and what it holds for the Foundation. We will continue to post updated information regarding each event as they draw closer.
